Cheerleading

LCFCA offers girls from Pre-Kindergarten through the 6th grade the opportunity to learn the skills and techniques of cheerleading, while at the same time, learning team building and self- confidence.
We start off the season with a Cheer Camp, taught by the local High School cheerleaders. After the Cheer Camp, our coaches select their teams through a draft. Once the draft is completed, the cheer coaches will contact their cheer squad and begin practice.
Cheerleaders practice during the week at the Corinth Fields. Football games are played on Saturdays with surrounding communities. The registration fee includes all camps, awards ceremony, and uniforms which includes top, skirt, bloomers, poms, socks, and camp wear.
At the end of football season, all girls will participate in a Cheer Off. The cheer off will allow teams in the same age group to compete for in Cheer and Dance. Individual and group trophies will be awarded. The Cheer Off will replace the formal competitions we have done in the past. Cheer Off is put together by our local high schools.

Cheer Camp

The camp wear will be handed out on July 10 and July 12 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Lake Dallas High School Field House Parking Lot.
Cheer Practice
Practices begin July 23rd or later and continue through the end of the season in November. Your coach will schedule a team meeting, at which time practices will be determined. Depending on coach, you will practice 2-3 times per week. Practices are held at the Corinth fields. Coaches will teach cheers, techniques, and dances. For the Cheer Off, practices are to be held at the Corinth Fields and cannot be held at any other location until further notice.
